About

Handel & Hendrix in London celebrates two musical legends who lived at 25 Brook Street 200 years apart. George Frideric Handel lived at number 25 from 1723 until his death in 1759, composing Messiah and many other masterpieces here. Jimi Hendrix lived in the flat next door at number 23 in 1968-69.

The beautifully restored Georgian house recreates Handel's home with period furnishings, while Hendrix's flat is restored to its 1960s appearance. The museum explores both musicians' lives, work, and lasting influence.
