The William Morris Gallery, housed in the designer's childhood home in Walthamstow, is devoted to the life and work of William Morris (1834-1896), the influential designer, craftsman, poet, and socialist. The gallery displays the most comprehensive collection of objects relating to all aspects of Morris's life and work, including furniture, textiles, wallpapers, ceramics, and books.

The collection also features works by the Pre-Raphaelites and other members of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
