The Freud Museum London preserves the final home of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, who lived here with his family after fleeing Nazi-occupied Vienna in 1938. The centrepiece is Freud's study and library, preserved exactly as it was during his lifetime, complete with his famous psychoanalytic couch and extensive collection of antiquities.
The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and work of one of the 20th century's most influential thinkers.
The house also celebrates the life and work of Anna Freud, pioneer of child psychoanalysis.
