Keats House is where the Romantic poet John Keats lived from 1818 to 1820 and wrote some of his most celebrated works, including 'Ode to a Nightingale'. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Hampstead, this elegant Regency villa preserves the atmosphere of Keats' time here. Visitors can see the room where he wrote many of his greatest poems, learn about his tragic love affair with Fanny Brawne who lived next door, and explore the beautiful garden where a plum tree stands on the spot where the nightingale inspired his famous ode.
