About

The Household Cavalry Museum offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the Household Cavalry - the Life Guards and the Blues and Royals. Located in the historic 18th-century Horse Guards building, the museum tells the story of these elite troops who serve as both the Queen's mounted bodyguard and an operational armoured reconnaissance unit.

A unique feature is the large glass screen allowing visitors to watch troopers working with their horses in the working stables below.

The museum displays magnificent ceremonial uniforms, weapons, and explains the regiment's modern role.
