Built in the 1720s and extended in the 1740s, this beautiful red-brick house became home to the extraordinary collection of Sir Julius Wernher, a German-born diamond magnate and art collector.
The collection contains over 700 works spanning 2,000 years, from ancient jewelry to Renaissance paintings, medieval ivories to Sèvres porcelain.
